  1. A group of sailors came to seek his fortune and stayed in Plymouth, he had great wealth and had a very nice port, but it cost them survive there.
The residents were taught to harvest, plant and pack fish in salt and cured meat.
After this the pilgrims saw a reason to celebrate having survived the "day of thanksgiving" This is the story of Thanksgiving.
The Thanksgiving Day is celebrated with a feast and eat turkey stuffing.

  2. It was a gesture of goodwill on the part of the settlers, also called pilgrims, Indians to give thanks to God for the first harvest of corn, which they shared among other foods, turkey.
U.S. citizens celebrate Thanksgiving as a gesture of thanks to God for all that this has given them, the families get together (as they met the settlers and the Indians) and lunch turkey and other foods typical of that day.

  3. It's because a boat of English pilgrims arrived to the north-east cost of America in 1620, they putted their town there and when the cold winter of the area came, half of the population died because they were not prepared. The rest of the people survived with the help of the Indians of the area.

After the pilgrims had survived and had the first harvest corn, they shared it with those Indians that had been helping them to survive. That day was the first Thanksgiving day.

  5. The holiday of thanksgiving represents a feast held by the pilgrims who were people who came from great britain to settle the new world. We think the first feast was held in the year 1621.
Native amerians showed the pilgrims how to hunt and live in the new world.
The pilgrims gave them goods and weapons in exchange for their help and thanksgiving basically represents the fact that the two kinds of people helped each other out.
The turkey was one of the types of wild life that the native americans ate and they shared this with the pilgrims.

  9. - Because the Pilgrims decided round by boat to the new world, when they found land located there but knew not handled in this new environment.
American Indians came they were taught to farm and do many things very useful. And to celebrate, the feast of food was used in most birds (Thanksgiving turkey).

  10. In the photograph we can see pilgrims because the event that Americans commonly call the "first Thanksgiving" was celebrated to give thanks to God for helping the pilgrims of Plymouth colony survive their first brutal winter in USA.
The symbol of the turkey is a remainder of the "Four Wild Turkeys" served at the first Thanksgiving feast.
The Indians images are when the pilgrims arrived in USA there were already Indians living there and they helped the pilgrims to survive.
