Biomedical engineer, network systems and data communications analyst, home health aide: those are the top three career fields expected to hire workers between now and 2018, says a story tucked into The New York Times Education Life supplement last Sunday. The Times pulled data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics once every two years. This list comes from November 2009, so it’s not exactly current, but it nevertheless provides some rough guidance for young people trying to plan their studies and career direction. The BLS will put out a fresh list in November of this year.

There are also links to lists of the fields with the largest job growth here, and the occupations with the greatest declines, here. The top three professions adding the most jobs: registered nurses, home health aides and customer service representatives. The fields with the biggest job drops, perhaps not surprisingly: farmers and ranchers, sewing machines operators, and office order clerks.
Helpfully, the Times lists approximate salaries and brief explanations of why the top fields are growing, and also the necessary education required. Biomedical engineers, for instance, are in great demand by device makers who produce things like artificial limbs and imagining machines, and companies looking to do gene testing and to make new drugs. The BLS says workers need only earn a bachelor’s degree but the Times finds that a master’s degrees is required. The median salary in this profession: $82,550. Network and data analysts make an average of $76,560 and will be working on the explosion in mobile data, tablets and cloud computing apps, and the need for managing ever greater swaths of data. The BLS says you can go into this field with a bachelor’s degree. Given the aging baby boom generation, it’s not surprising that home health aides come in third, and that the salary isn’t high, a median of $21,620, says the Times, though it can be higher in more affluent areas. You don’t need a college degree for this field.

In my future I would like to study first a module called animation Technician in sport and physical activity is take me two years but then I would incorporate into the race as a race could not directly mean that the school is not going to make sure to get me in that race. This module has a lot because I like sports more than studying, and the sport I love and work on that as well as not required to sit all day in front of a computer. I'm already aware of this and other of the things I also like is that this module has much practice only in central perono which such study but also has the odd trip to the Pyrenees as where you work all the snow-related sports such as snowmobiling, skiing, snow. Another of the things discussed in this module is juggling everything about swimming, football, tennis ... etc. Once done this training cycle I would find a job related to the previously studied at the same time is to complete my career. And once this is finished if possible I would like to continue working where was before or find another job.

Still, if there's something that really excites me but haven’t got any output and more in my case: actress, is ironic because I am the most shy and insecure that you know, and so my dream will never come true.

I would like to be Professor of primary or infant, though is that there are many teachers unemployed, my idea is to leave Spain and work as a Spanish teacher in a school for young children. I want to be police, and for that I have to pass this course of 2 bach and then I have to prepare the oppositions for 3 or 4 years and I have to present to the exam. In the exam for access to the police I have to deal with many people and many of them have university degrees which will give them more possibilities to entering the corps of the police.
I want to be specifically local police as well I would haven´t go to Seville and it is the police corps that does less and charge more.
Once inside the police I would like to specialize in some drug police corps because I think that drugs are affecting irreversibly to young people like me are part and bring a little bit for this to slow as soon possible.

In my future I want to study pharmacy because i think is the best choice for my , because if i will go to the university to study pharmacy , i have work for sure because my father have a pharmacy and he wants me to study pharmacy. ResponderEliminarI do not like any of these new university, but my sister if you like. I would like to be a teacher of primary school children. When I was little I liked dentistry, and yet I still like it, so I want to study something that is related to this after pursuing higher education.
I love helping people and I like young children, so I think it could become a good teacher, I also like to make a specialty of special education teacher, because I think that these children need a lot of help and much love, and I'm a very loving person.

Certainly i still having many doubts in what i want to become in the future.I have many friends than sine they were childs they know what were their vocations and they know since many wears ago even the university they would like to study.In my case , while i´m near to the need of take a decision i become more confused.I always like the countryside, animals and be out of the aglomeration of the city.My fother is an agricultural engineer and when i ask him the for possibility of be like him he don´t lend me.He said that is a job without future and he recommend me to study something relation with economics or lawyer and every day that passes i make the idea that my future is would be relevant with this things.

The work which I will like to devote myself is medicine. I would like to be a doctor. I think it is a very nice job because it is related to helping people with diseases. Although I really like this job, I am very worried that if my note isn't become high enough to enter this career. One reason why I would like to study this race is because since I was very small, I have been in different hospitals for a long time because I had a disease. Since I was a child I always liked to be a firefighter. I started to want to be a firefighter when I saw one of them in a film, the firefighter saved a whole family including their pets, in that moment I decided to be a firefighter in order to try to save lifes. Another thing of being a firefighter that attract me is that, if you want to become a firefighter you should keep fit, so if I become a firefighter I will have a great body and I could use to meet girls and starting to go out with them. I think the profession of firefighter is a profession that makes you feel good because you are helping and saving people and that’s is very heartwarming. There are a lot of firefighters in every place around the world, helping people, training all day , rescuing pets, helping with the floods, helping people stuck in elevators…etc, and I really want to become one of them. I think everyone want to feel useful, and being a firefighter is the best thing to feel that for me. It is only my opinion, but the best profession for me is being a firefighter.

On the one hand, I know it has its advantages. One is to teach children at an early stage of schooling, they do not have time to know well what the school, or the environment, or peers of the same age. In addition, I think it is a way to approach them and to remember your own childhood.
On the other hand, it also has some disadvantages. One is that it takes patience to educate them, because, not being adapted and ignore the new environment in which they operate, are not used and this is not an easy task.

More I like football because my father went with me every weekend to see Real Betis Balompie stadium and when I was seven years old we went to do the football test to play in the Real Betis Balompie. However football player finish their career so younger that they have to find another job because they finish with thirty five years old more or less so that I will think in other job to continue my personal career.

We completely depend on qualifications we obtain in the last two courses in high school and selectivity. And at this age is very difficult to perceive the importance of the moment.
There are a lot of careers I could study, but the problem is that opportunities to get a job are running short. There are some careers that permit you to have many openings and so they are much applied.
This year I want to obtain wonderful marks to access these degree courses that permit me to find a job later.
However, if all of this didn’t matter, I would like studying journalism because it is a career which attracts a lot my attention. But I stopped to think and observe that after having studied so much I couldn’t earn my life or find a job so I would have to work abroad.
Other career that I like is nursing. This has a lot of openings overcoat abroad. I could work in a hospital understanding of human nature and human behaviours.

There are three important things that you have to keep in mind before choosing studies after college. One: what you like. Two: what the society needs. Three: your marks in college and the subjects you are studying now. I think that, nowadays, the first is not the most important thing to keep in mind. In fact, years ago, I wanted to be a veterinarian, also a teacher for early childhood education, but, for several reasons, none of them are now in my mind (marks in science, current low birth rate). Currently, social worker could be an option, but I´m not sure. The second and third factors are always limiting what I would like to be, so let´s focus on them. The present crisis don´t let us many choices. Many qualified people are unemployed in spite of their training and experience, and a lot of them have to feed a family, so they urgently need a job but they can´t get it. Even many graduates have studied professional training after the degree, to get a job. The situation is hopeless, so I think: How can I get a job if they don´t do it first?. I can only hope a better future and study the most I can while I don´t have to feed a family. That carries us to the third factor, the most important, so I think that it will be decissive in my choice. According to my chances, I´ll choose the best I can, whatever it is.
In the future I would love to be a good woman, but in these times it is very difficult to find work, I wanted to be a journalist, because I love the world of news, celebrities and important events in world history. I like to be informed at all times of what is happening around me, like I love being nosy and gossip all kinds of rumors that say about the person that I finally do not care, but just knowing a little more about their lives I interested. If you make me this question a year ago, I would say that I would have liked to stop studying and get to work in what was, what I want to be most I've always been very clear "welfare" I always liked that world working with difficult people, difficult cases ... You help people who are sick or ill and they are grateful for it. A private University is very expensive and my family can´t pay this. Other career that I like is Physiotherapy because I have a trouble in my knees and I went to a physiotherapist for help me: doing massages, telling me exercises to have the best mobility and when I had surgery, they assist and looking after me.

In the future I would like to be a telecommunications engineer. My father is an industrial engineer but I like much more telecommunications. ResponderEliminarThis is one of the questions that I get more times a day, because the truth I'm still not entirely sure I want to do in the future. Right now I think I want to be a lawyer. I wanted to be a doctor small until last year and loved him but by a series of circumstances I thought it was not going to reach my goal. Instead of studying Health Sciences, I am currently studying Social Sciences. Still I have almost two years to decide what I want to do in the future, I think I want dharma itself to be a lawyer but might please a series of circumstances I realize I want to be in the future otherwise. Another thing I am absolutely sure that I do most is to help the needy voluntarily if more luckily I have a lot of money, some of this money will go to people in need. I am currently doing a volunteer in 3000 homes and last year went to another at Children's Hospital Virgen del Rocio with another friend, Marta Hernandez. Right now I do not want to be overwhelmed with more, now I want to do is to study and you decide to do, because I'm not very aware of careers that can be studied.

There are many types of engineering (industrial, mechanical, electrical) have some general subjects but from the second year and begin to specialize in their field. Although I don’t made a clear decision for my studies and my future, I know that the profession which I will have in the future will be related to communications, because this I really like this and I like to work. One reason is that communication is an issue that progresses very fast and is something that fascinates me, we have nowadays the ease of hear about news that happened on the other side of the world only if we turn on the television.
Also although I like the careers of this reportage, I’m not any of these three, and communication will always exist so there will work.
Inside communication the options are: Advertising and Public Relations, Journalism and Audiovisual.
I hope to decide soon on one of these options, either only one or joint career, and I hope that this choice will be the correct because depends on what I study, I will work on that the rest of my life.
Certainly i still having many doubts in what i want to become in the future.I have many friends than sine they were childs they know what were their vocations and they know since many wears ago even the university they would like to study.In my case , while i´m near to the need of take a decision i become more confused.I always like the countryside, animals and be out of the aglomeration of the city.My fother is an agricultural engineer and when i ask him the for possibility of be like him he don´t lend me.He said that is a job without future and he recommend me to study something relation with economics or lawyer and every day that passes i make the idea that my future is would be relevant with this things.

well, in the future i want to belong to the spanish armed forces, because i think is a very exciting job because soldiers are everytime in missions abroad and they can meet other cultures other languages also they are helping other people and I think that this is very satisfactory. Also I want to belong in the armed forces because is a family tradition for example my father is lieutenant colonel and my grandfather is a colonel retired.

I want to get in to army, they are the responsable to make ground operations because I think that are the most exciting.
But before get in to the army I must go to the general militar academy, thats the place where the futures soldiers studies for five years, after those five years I can choose between 4 branches, Infantry,Cavalry,Artillery and Engineers, but I havent decided yet
I think that this is a really difficult question because these times are really hard. Twenty years ago, for example I think it would have been so much easier, just with studying a university career, finding a good job and perhaps meeting the perfect man and forming a family would be a (more or less) easy way to have a successful life and a good future. But we are living in a really hard times, the economical crisis, the lack of employments and the no chance to earn money easily let me to think that we must be well prepared for becoming an adult.
ResponderEliminarFirst I think one of the most important things for being prepared are languages, without them you have no chance to go to a foreign country and to try to get some luck, I don’t really know which languages should we learn but people speak about Chinese, Portuguese, German and English of course, English is maybe the most important to start because all around the world is speaked.
Then I would say that having enough time for studying a good career is really important, if it is possible spending seven years studying with a master would be perfect. Unfortunately not everyone have money or time.
Choosing a career is a difficult choice. You should study something you like, because you're going to work all life on something related to this. You Also have to think acerca studying something That makes it easy to find at work. Although it is hard to know what works have a future and which ones do not.

ResponderEliminarThis is one of the questions that I get more times a day, because the truth I'm still not entirely sure I want to do in the future. Right now I want to be a teacher of disabled children, my mother studied that and I've always liked but I have changed many times opinion. I wanted to be a lawyer, singer, journalist ... but since childhood my dream was to be a dancer or dance teacher, I have been seven years in the conservatory of dance but this year I had to stop by the studios but I'm sure someday return dancing. Ultimately I think I will study special education for children with disabilities which I think is something I like but I also know that it takes a lot of patience and dedication to this.

I in my opinion I think it is not necessary to make a career with a future but a career that you really like and you're going to hit your whole life exercising that office that you will study and choose, as I would be impossible to exercise a trade throughout my life without that I liked, so in my case when I have to decide, already prays'll pick a career because I really like. I think we'll pick a career that has relation with the field because I love the countryside and I whenever I can. Ya and went looking for a career in this and for now I've settled on Mount engineer because it is what most resembles what I like, and this is making reforestation where needed, seek the causes of that ill the wildlife and vegetation types at a given site, decide where to put feeders for animals ... While also as far as you can have to try to have a greater future for finding work, because with the crisis day's in there are very few jobs and just fuck the best and also most people are going to foreigner to work out of necessity.
ResponderEliminarif I've made a decision, I want to devote myself to major in physical therapy and sports as it is what I've dreamed very small, small during summer playing to massage people when it came to the pool as long as you give me 20 cents for each massage, and at the end of the day my grandmother had a store and bought an ice cream and went home very happy. If I got the note to enter physiotherapy guess I would end in any other profession provided it is health branch, or if there was no option but to opt for a module such as pharmacy or would a higher module and then move on to the race. Once past the race I would like to work for or start my own sports massage consultation and if there was no choice but because they could do the other options I guess that would end in social security, but the truth is I am very motivated to achieve my goal though I is proving very difficult.

I haven't decided yet. I always thought I wanted to be a kids teacher, but I have changed my mind because now I see it differently. I had the idea that it was like going to the playgroup, funny, but now I think it's a responsibility, you have to know how to treat children, and to do it well you must have the vocation. I don't think I have those habilities.
Now, I think I will study law or economics. My mother tells me that before choosing I have to know what subjects are in each degree and the different jobs that are related to each degree. Law has many possibilities in the future but in the degree you have to study and memorize a lot and I'm not good at that.
So I think I could study DADE which combines Law and Economics. I don't like at all criminology. It's a degree related with Law that studies why crimes happen. One of my friends wants to study it and I tell her that she has seen a lot of TV sitcoms.

Phew! This does not count as a word. Then I thought of many things, from the military, naval engineer, architect (the council), marine science, and political science to what attracts me most lately is get a degree in Sports Science.

The main problem I find in the note so high that ask for any race, so in the end it does not let me choose the note I get, that makes more work costing you choose because you always have to think of other alternatives about what might happen but not like what facilty. A roll!
Anyway I still think that sports science is what I would like to study more and in a way or another that is what I will do.
Overall I like almost all sports and also I think I have to practice physical qualities too, if not for Olympic, but who knows, it's all about trying, so I keep my enthusiasm in doing this race and keep practicing sport which as you know, mine is the candle.
In the future I would like to became, in principle, a physical trainer. It has always been my challenge to become one especially in a football team. I have been informed from sports teams of cities, to see and learn from the great one. It would be a dream to become one of those who are in the band preparing players to start playing football. After high school I would like to make a higher level module to learn to do what I like. I've since childhood wanting to belong to a sports property and work within it. It's a difficult career where you are disputing much enter the race to study. It is a work which, besides being hard, also have their reward in life if you finish working. It is a profession where you have to be most of your time away from home, and we must learn to take it with family, friends and loved ones. But if you really like something you have to go for it, are you going putting goals of life, and that, after all you have to finish doing what you like and work with what you fill more inside . No matter if you win a lot of money or little money if you win, what matters in this life is to become what you want and I formed primarily as valid person in life.
ResponderEliminarIn the future I want to be a teacher of children, is a profession that I like since I was little and never caught my attention another career, besides my mother works in a nursery and I have gone many times to help a bit and it's something I like a lot and what I enjoy. I think the teachers and especially in young children is very nice because it is the stage when children begin to talk, walk, communicate with others and partly the teacher is responsible for teaching many things at school so satisfies you when you see your progress.

To be honest, I have not yet very clear that is what I would like to dedicate my future, I am studying a bachelor of social sciences, but I love biology, stuff that I have not in my option. But if I have some preferences related to psychology because I love listening to people and to help them solve their problems. On the other hand, I am very interested also, the sport-related professions. Of the professions that catch my attention more is the entrepreneur who starts building from scratch step by step a company can get it right or you might go wrong, and I like it because it is a people profession constant workers and entrepreneurs who care about your business, learn something new every day to make her business.

was ten when we moved house and I love the change and the process in which we had to order the floor, place the furniture where we wanted, I love to help others create their imaginary home that would wish to live their entire life.
I I have intention of being here in Seville to study but I would not mind to go outside even outside Spain Sevilla, would be a unique experience that would leave no escape if I had that opportunity.
Later I would like to have a stable job and a family with a husband and two or three children.
This is a dream that will hopefully become a reality.
All this started to like when tenianueve or ten years before this I wanted to be a coroner or teacher, since my small school I loved and I looked and I see CSI series.
In the future, I would like to study at the university, if I get a high note and sufficient, would study the joint career ADES (Business Administration and Management) with law. Since children I loved working as a cook in a big restaurant but then changed to want to major in history, but in the end I decided to study business, is a race that I quite like and I have to use many economies and mathematics, which I love and my dream would be to mount a renowned company in Spain or internationally. Honestly, I have no clue yet of what I want to be in the future, but the first idea that I had since I was young is being a doctor or a nurse. The main reason because my dad is a doctor so I have gone to my dad's office a lot of times and I really like everything that he does. He is my reference in life so I decided that I wanted to be like him, but with the time I have knowing that to be a doctor or a nurse you have to study a lot and be really smart so that Is what its making me think about the future and of what I want to be in the future. From the other hand, my mom is a layer, and I think that I could be good at that, and in this career I do not have to deal with math, which is my weakness at school. I think that I could be a goo defender of someone that needs my help. So, In conclusion, I am still thinking about all this and I am not sure yet of what I want to be. my dream is to be a doctor as my dad is my the reality is that I would be a better layer than a doctor. I have a full year to think about this so I am not worry about this yet.

In the future I would like to devote my univesity studies in a degree in business administration with a specialization in labor relations and human resources + finances and accounting. I hope Ican stay in Seville from start to finish and then study a postdegree of administration and direction of company or another that is of environmental management. Also I will have to start practising different languages. Yes I know I have a lot to do in a short time .this summe,r after selectivity, I will do an English' intensive course.
