David Michael Kalac, 33, was taken into custody near Portland late Wednesday by the Wilsonville Police Department.
He was wanted on suspicion of second-degree murder.
"Outside of a terrorist
attack this is as serious as you can get," said Deputy Scott Wilson of
the Kitsap County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities first
received a call Tuesday afternoon. When they arrived at the apartment in
Port Orchard, Washington, they found the body of Amber Lynn Coplin, 30.
Around the same time,
authorities started receiving tips about suspicious photographs posted
online on social media sites Imgur and 4chan.
"The initial poster,
believed to be Kalac, was also posting comments with the pictures. He
said that the crime scene would be discovered and what he was going to
do. We took this very seriously. We have no reason to believe that
anyone posted them but him," the deputy said.
According to CNN affiliate KOMO,
the statement read, in part: "Check the news for Port Orchard
Washington in a few hours. Her son will be home from school soon. He'll
find her, then call the cops. I just wanted to share the pics before
they find me. I bought a BB gun that looks realistic enough. When they
come, I'll pull it and it will be suicide by cop. I understand the
doubts. Just check the (expletive) news. I have to lose my phone now."
KOMO reported the same
writer later added: "Turns out its way harder to strangle someone to
death than it looks on the movies. She fought so Damn hard."
Kalac has a history of domestic violence and making threats to law enforcement, Wilson said.
The victim's missing vehicle was found abandoned in Portland earlier in the day.

ResponderEliminarFacebook and twitter are two social network which we use to communicate our events, upload photos or meet your old friends. Nowadays, a lot of people around the world have an account on the internet, where they can find a lot of information at the same time that important things are happening.
Since some people’s experiences, I know that to post personal information and photos on facebook or twitter can be very dangerous for ourselves, because anybody can access to it without any problem. There are continually news on TV and newspaper about it, especially with children, who don’t know the danger in which they can fall down. Normally, the photos and the information can be manipulated by adults, who can get a benefit of them or something worse.
There are some cases where children have been deceived or even pressed by strange to influence in their attitudes and obtain money, photos or to meet them.
To sum up, I will never post on facebook or twitter anything about me to prevent myself or my family from a difficult situation which is not nice to live.
I think that I don´t have any special that I don´t public, but if I comitted a crime I never put the photos of this in the socials red.

On the one hand, I never publish a photo drinking, smoking or striking thing, because I know that in the future these photos will continue on the internet and do not want my children or others to see. There are photos of young that seem fun, but older can we dislike them.

ResponderEliminarI would never post my home address, because it enables everyone and anyone with whom I have shared that information to see where I live. It could have negative repercussions, for example, there have been instances in which burglars have used Facebook to target users who said they were not at home.
I also would never post inappropriate photos of me, because it can cost me a job or worse. Even deleted photos could come back to haunt you. I have read recently that Facebook’s servers can store deleted photos for an unspecified amount of time. It is possible that someone who previously had access to a photo and saved the link could still access to the photo.
It is bad to post complaining about work, because if you write something bad about your boss or any of your partners, they might see it! (As an experience, never write anything bad about your teacher, when they read it is very embarrassing…).
Another thing that you shouldn’t post on Facebook is those lovely drunk pictures, never (and this is coming from personal experience too) post those drunk pictures of you on your Facebook page, everyone could see them and think bad about you, including your family.
I couldnt post Facebook personal photos, photos that I am not favoured or in positions that may have another meaning.

Secondly, when I use my social media accounts, I always have precaution by not letting people who i don´t know to see my pictures or information. I think that social media is at the same time a very useful but dangerous tool. Everyone has access to the Internet nowadays and all of us have at least one or two social networks like twitter facebook or instagram. There, we expose all our private information about ourselves like for example pictures, directions or even our telephone numbers. The problem is that in these kind of tool everyone can see this information and can use it for what they want. I would never post in the Internet that kind of information as it is very dangerous and could have serious repercutations.

The young people we usually publish everything for instagram, facebook..... for example: our holidays, our gifts. This can become a negative factor since if there is a person who wants to steal us it can try it if one informs that we are on holiday or if for example they give us a motorbike someone who wants it can take it from us, or hurt him.

Two or three years ago, when Facebook was beginning, I create my own Facebook profile and I began to use it to communicate with all my friend. It was when I spent a month in England with an English family and I met many people from different nationalities, German, Italian, French, Russian, etc.… And it was interesting to share thing with them, photos and different things of daily life. But we didn´t know how exposed we were to everyone that wanted to know thing about us. And we used Facebook without many information of security, we accept a lot of friends, the more friends you have the more famous you were among your friends. So we decided not to share our personal things by this social networks that are so dangerous. So, in my opinion, I think that nobody should post close pictures or comments such us those related to my private life. If I have boyfriend or not, problems with teachers, friends in general or with my parents could generate problems with another persons.
People like to do this kind of things, but I really don´t.
My parents asked me to watch several films about this. For example, I remember one that was about a girl that sent a personal picture nude of herself because his boyfriend asked her to do. She was very careful and sent it just to him by private message. When the relation finished he posted it on facebook. Imagine it: all their friends watched her nude. It was so embarrassment for the girl that she finally suicide.
Since then, I have it in my mind and I don´t send any message with pictures or comments that could turn against me in the future or simply things I don´t want people know about me.

In the last few years a lot of ways to communicate with your friend have appeared, and we spent a lot of time during the day with our mobile phones, I pad, etc… connected, but you have to be very careful with the things that you post in some of the social networks. For example you can post something and after a while you regret it when you had just post it, but the problem is that although you take it off very quickly, someone may have seen it and copied it, and there is no turning back. So I prefer to use other networks as twitter or whatsApp. Every time that you post a photo you have to be very careful to remove all the information, the date, the name of the place, restaurants, clubs or anything that allow people to know where you are or what you are doing in the moment. Some times we don’t realize of the danger of posting such a lot of information on the web, because we don’t think that people can enter in our groups, but hackers exists, and people with bad intentions can access easily to our information.

Users should know the postings on social networks can be known by more people than they imagine, so, one must be careful with the pictures and things posted. There are many things that should not be posted, for example:
- writing about how much you hate your job, a negative comment or a succession of them on the job can lead to dismissal;
- showing images drinking alcohol and / or drunken;
- copying answers to academic work;
- posting intimate pictures of your ex couple;
- say how many days you will be away from home, or if it is not going to be anyone. This is one of the advices that the Spanish Police gives users of social networks, with particular emphasis on children, as many have friends that parents do not know and who may not be displayed on your profile.

For this reason my network are private always and I only let certain people see the things that I share. For example never post any photo which I look inappropriate, personal stuff as telephone numbers, address, credit cards, passwords; I don´t tell why I do in every moment of the day. I know by personal experience that it is very dangerous because a close person to me was a victim of all this, because this friend of mine don´t have private this network and was talking with someone who wasn´t who he said he was, and this person got into trouble but fortunately everything went okay. But this doesn´t have to be always this way so is better being careful before rather than regretting of own mistakes when it is too late.

I don’t like them very much, because I like keeping my prívate life in prívate. My friends are using them all the day, they are always “connected”, but I get very angry if they put in Facebook a picture where i am. I know that it can seem excessive, but I know a friend whose identity was stolen and he didn’t know it until almost a year. Even if you think that you are getting your count in prívate there are ways of getting your personal information or your photos. Then it is all easy, someone can use your pictures and open his own count with a fake name, you can do it to make a joke, but people can use it to steal or for pornography, you can imagine the worst and it will be truth. Twitter is different, i don’t use to use it because I don’t have the habit, and I don’t feel that I have something important to say neither. I have account in many social nets but I have clearly known what I can post in it and what I can´t, I know that i´m not going to upload private photos or images that can be harmfull for me or for someone , also I wont upgrade nothing that I can be embarrased at, I have already know some people who have made mistakes in this terms and who have been very repentant for that, also people who have get depressions for the things that they have post in the social networks because, maybe you want to put it in this time but not in the future and you can´t delete what is already posted because once you have posted that information or photos are public information. But knowing that things it would be innofensive. Like everything in our lives we have to know the problems or issues that things have or it can make to us and everything will be better for us, that means that we will have an easier live being careful. And finally I think that you have to be very silly to publish something that you don´t want to people see, so be careful.

In my opinion, social networks, like facebook or twitter and many more today is a habit in our everyday life, social networks have marked a before and after in society, on the one hand I think it is so good because you can keep contant with many people living far away from you, or find many people from your past you can share everything you feel, but on the other hand, many people don't make good use of these networks, used to psychologically mistreat or criticize many people, so I think that social networks are good only if its use is with a good end.

For example some people post pictures of every little thing they do and this is very boring for me and it’s a lot of energy because you almost use your phone all the time. They have the need of saying where they are, what they are doing, and I think you have to keep your privacy. For example, some months ago I went to a party and some friends took pictures of other people and the posted it on facebook and the mother of one of my friends saw the photograph and she didn’t know that her son went to that party. ResponderEliminarI sometimes take selfies because I think it is fun and we enjoy it. Or when I am ready to go out and dressed with the perfect new clothes, then I like to take a picture. Or on a special occasion with my family… but I never upload personal photos, and especially if there are other people apart from me.
Firstly, i am going to introduce how facebook and twitter work they are bought a social media network that allows people to stay connected and see what people do, what they like...by looking to his photos or his publications. On the one hand the advantages of facebook and twiter are that they allow you to be connected always to all the news and to all the innovations of your friends and that it you allow to report and to interact with your friends across these social networks. On the other hand the disadvantages that have these social networks are that they can compromise or put in a bad situation you for example you raise a photo as that of the news. In addition the simple fact of raising personal your information to any social network has his dangers, because of it the police recommend not to put personal information in Internet, information to which anyone can accede. If I upload personal photos which I choose to either hang on the net because you can never know who can see them. Nor do I usually take pictures or say all the time where I am or where I'm going, I think anyone gets stupid writing where all the time is, or simply say you are doing every time you do something. You have to be very careful what hangs on the network and monitor what you hang ups and who can see. Internet and social networks are a great invention and we very much easier life but remember that we are all connected and that people everywhere can get your own private data. So you should always protect what you do not need to upload anything you do because many people will not care and you're giving personal information. With all that said, the Internet and social networks are safe provided they make good use of them and a clever use by us.
