  1. The holy week for me is a week very beautiful in Seville and in other countries, but this year with the tight course of high school the holy week for me have make a week for study and make some works for the third evaluation.
The sacrifice of this week will deserve this sentence. Sincerely I have been all my life in religious college and I think is the reason why I am a little interested in holy week, but I like holy week because I can go out with my friends and come late home.
In particular this year I am going to go to the beach from Monday to Thursday for studying without tentations of going to the center of Seville, because in the beach I can combine my time by laying on the sun and studying .
A detail that I remember when I was a child is that I went with my parents to Seville and with the piece of paper of mi sandwich make a ball of wax. ¿who has never do that?
In conclusion right now is 17:10 of Sunday and Im here doing English activities, I am doing this because I prefer going to the faire of Seville than going out on the holy week. This year is my last year in 2bach so I have to make an effort studying for have note and go to the university.

  2. My plans for the Holy Week are simple. What I really want to do is enjoying what this time brings. Of course what I would not want to do is studying a lot, but I have the repeating exams just after Holy Week.
The first day of this Holy Week, Pain´s Friday, I will go to Claret to see the religious procession “La Mission”. I will not study this weekend but I think the week after I will have to study a lot for the exams I have just talk.
Everybody do the same plans in these holidays. They have not alternative: going to the beach or watching the diary processions. For people who like the second option, they will have to be all day waiting for the weather. Since I was seven or eight years old, I do not remember a holy week when all the processions realized their own “Penance Station”. If my parents let me and everything goes on, I will go to watch “La Madrugada”. What I am going to see the first is “La Macarena”. This is a special one for me because I think it is the unique processions what makes me cry. Ass you could see, my Holy week is very common. Although I would like to go to the beach from Thursday to Sunday, I will stay here.

  3. I like a lot the Holy Week and i want the holidays arriving soon. If time permits I usually go in the afternoon to Seville center with my friends or my family to see the steps I can, because all it is impossible to see and would be very tired, then we go to a snack bar for a drink and dinner because walking from one place to another makes hungry, also we usually visit a church in case it rains and not step out into the street, to see inside the chapel and finally I go home to sleep and rest in bed. Easter Monday I go to my grandmother’s house to help her prepare some sweets and snacks for the whole family. Starting Friday I go to the beach with my sister because I need to be sunbathing brunette because the fair is near and you have to wear the suit and also because I have all year without seeing my friends there and I enjoy spending time and tell them how I was your year. Also I have to study because when we get back from vacation and there are some tests that prepare them well for a good course and have fun in the summer.

Well, first I have to say that this holy week has been great because it has made very good weather. The first few days I spent on the beach, to take advantage good weather and enjoy the rest of the week here in Sevilla.
I arrived here on Tuesday night, so that day I could not see sororities. However, on Wednesday I was with some friends and I was in the old centre. On Thursday I had lunch with a friend, and at night we came back to the center of town to see "la madrugá". I was very tired the next morning, so I was sleeping all morning. After sleeping a long time, I was watching Friday night confraternities again, though I went back home early because I was so tired. On Saturday I was studying in the morning and in the afternoon I went for a walk with a friend.
Finally, Sunday I was also doing homework and I was studding a little, because the weather broke and it was raining. The best thing was they were able to overcome all fraternities on the street, even “el cachorro”, who had been many years without leaving.
I'm definitely very happy this Holy Week because it has been a Holy Week to remember, despite the heat that it has made a few days.

  6. This Holy Week I have stayed part of my time in Seville and the other in Ayamonte. The first part of the week I stayed in Seville watching some processions with some friends . I most enjoyed La Paz on Sunday. I watched it come out of the church and also when it returned in the evening. Every year I like to see it pass through La Plaza de España in the evening it is my favourite. On Monday and Tuesday I watched a few other processions but tried to get back home not too late. I decided that this year with the selectividad exams I had to try to spend time studying. The rest of the week I went with my parents and brothers to a small house in Ayamonte. The weather was very nice so besides studying I tried to go to the beach and enjoy some time with my family. I went fishing with my brothers on a small boat along the Guadiana River and with luck caught a lubina and a sargo. They were not too big so we decided to let them back to the sea. I really enjoyed my holidays because I was able to do the things I like and also found time to prepare for exams.

  7. this holy week processions have seen very few because I really agovian bullae, also had to study hard and I took advantage to do so. Two days I have gone from bike path, sevilla-aznalcazar that are 70 kilometers of rails. This route is discovered on Palm Sunday and I have done twice at Easter, as it is very nice but hard because there are many areas in which zunas balance is lost easily and is very easy to fall off the bicycle.

I have also gone for two days running, I made ten kilometers and I'm starting and I have to go slowly but within a month or two sure that I will perform fifteen to twenty miles in one day as I make between seventy and eighty kilometers on each output cycle I do.

Honestly they have helped me to relax and do sports, logically night I had time to go out with friends and have fun.

  10. As a photo is not uploading from mobile phone to computer, I'll have to talk to some of my Easter. Sunday because of a sprained knee he had had to stay home because he could not walk. Monday was different because the drink a little affection did not hurt me a lot and I went downtown to see some steps. On Tuesday and Wednesday I was at the beach, and it was Thursday night and Friday with the famous madrugá where I went out with some friends downtown to see all the steps that came in that night. I went to bed late, very day on 10 and 11 and a half I went to the beach for the day again, of course dead sleep. The weekend was already different, no center and quieter with friends in a house or on the street, it has not been really bad week and especially because there has been a little rest.

  11. During the Holy Week, I’ve done a lot of things. From the Friday that we went on holidays until Tuesday, I went out with my friends. We watched lots of processions thanks also to the weather that was amazing. Then one Wednesday I took part in a procession called “El Baratillo”. It has been one of the hardest years because it was very hot and I was exhausted from the days before. Then on Thursday I went to the beach. When I got there the weather was not very good: cloudy and cold. The last day even rained! I couldn’t go to the beach but I went shopping and also I met some friends there.

  12. The holy week for me has been a perfect week, I like much and I could have enjoyed every day due to the fact that the time has helped which was a perfect week!
Sunday of branches was one very complete, first day I went to the "derbi" with my boyfriend and later we went to see the "confraternities" and it had time us to seeing all and also it is necessary to be with my friends. On the holy Monday morning I had an particular Englishman's class during an hour and then I ties in house of my grandparents and went out they plough my friends to seeing dwell "confraternities" though this day I did not see all but if the majority and those that I like dwells. On Tuesday exactly the same thing, classes in the morning of Englishman and in the evening to go out with my friends. On Wednesday already I did not give any more Englishman's lessons and this day it was a bit more familiar since my family goes out in the " Hermandad del Cristo de Burgos". Thursday also had been a familiar day because my family also goes out in the " Hermandad de la Quinta Angustia" but it was not like that since I continue taking care of a few children to be able to gain money, this night was the "madrugá" one of the best nights of the year for Sevillian many and I principally could live through it better than anybody since I had chairs in " the bell " one of the best places to see it. The following day after being the whole night it wakes up already I Did not go out any more to be able to study during the weekend. Undoubtedly a great holy week!

  13. Holy Week is a festival that ami I like very much , but the truth I would love that I liked, the young ones who do not like to see steps and brotherhoods live it differently, ie holiday everyday especially Sunday and Thursday , this Easter I have not left the family and I have spent studying, but I have not really missed the holidays because ami you miss so many people do not like. the only day I went out in the early morning was with my mother , she feels passion for this festival a lot and get excited with every step and brotherhood , ami what most catches my attention is the night of the early morning is the only thing that put the beautiful tip , so I've done little else , some days we have spent in my house with my uncles , cousins .. all together, that we are all very few times a year , and one day I went with my mother and my aunt to dew to see the virgin was the best day of Holy Week certainly feel passion for virgin spray and through the village, and then I spent on the beach to check on her and that's not because they got along swimsuits or anything we spend the day there and lunch we went to a restaurant where I lived rOMPIDO summers of my childhood and wanted to remember old times and ate at the restaurant where the tables are on the beach ,you can play perfectly seawater, and you other days I have spent in my house removing some evenings I would see some shops or something to clear my head, in conclusion this Easter for me has not been anything special has been rather boring but hey I was able to overtake exams and stuff for me has been great and has allowed me to vent a little bit of studying this week.

  14. In holly week i did a lot of things, firstly i went to the football match in the betis´ stadium that played betis against sevilla, then I went to see the brotherhoods of Sunday in the box of Seville. Monday I went to see brotherhoods with friends and in Tuesday I went to my village to go out with my brotherhood there, for me holy week is a perfect week when you can do a lot of things, you have a good time with family and friends and you do penance in your brotherhood, and I do that in my brotherhood of my village, is a small serious brotherhood where I know all of the people that be there and that is the best, you do penance with a lot of friends and with your family. Then I get back to Seville and I saw the brotherhoods of the Thursday night that were simply incredible, the last two days I studied and I saw the last brotherhoods, and that is all, this was my holly week that I think is the best week in the year and more in Seville that it has the best brotherhood in the world and the best images.

  17. Talking about my Easter holidays I find enjoyable. Best to call him best vacation I would call it otherwise still a bit of a daily routine: I get up about midnight, lunch and I go in search of the bus to go to Seville to see the Steps. It took me all afternoon and evening in commercial street until it passes the last brotherhood. Finally I get home, I sleep and get ready for the next day with a bit of luck might end tad less tired.

  18. The Holly week is a time when I used to enjoy with my family and my friends. Normally I spend this week in Cádiz, because we visit our family and go to the beach. But the problem is that I want to meet my friends too, so we share out the week to enjoy it the most possible.

This Holly week we started in Seville, where we could meet friends and saw cofradias. After two days, we went to Cádiz, and we stayed in Roche, which is a residencial place in Conil, and it has a really beautiful beaches and you can practise a lot of activities and sports like surf, tennis…
On Wednesday, we went to visit a small village with my family called Medina Sidonia, where we could see their typical Holly week and enjoy with their customs and their festivals.
On Thursday, we went to the city centre of Cádiz, where we did some shopping, and then we had dinner in a beautiful restaurant over the beach.
On Friday, we met with some friends from Madrid, who decided to spend their weekend in Conil, so we organised a lunch in our house to invite them.
On Saturday, we went to the cinema to see a film, which I had heard, called The Amazing Spider-Man, and I like it so much.

In my opinion, the Holly week is a time to relax and enjoy with my family and my friends at the same time that I can practise different activities and travel to know different cities.

  19. Holy week is a big week for a city like Seville where people turns much with the brotherhoods and the feeling is very strong. People go out to the streets to see the brotherhoods and many people come from other cities in Spain to see it
my plan in Holy week was get out to see many brotherhoods in addition to estudiar.lo better was to have a week of quiet to concentrate on my issues with my friends
I also participated in the Easter in the brotherhood La Estrella and it is a hard but comfortable activity as a penance is made and is one day a year but much tired and heat in Seville at 5 in the afternoon over the triana bridge is very stifling
the best of this year is not rained any day which doesn't normally never exceed and is the reason that many sororities cannot leave to the street and that sad much people carrying all year waiting for this day, as it is the case of El cachorro that was 5 years without leaving

So I've been studying, giving rides on bikes... Good Friday I went to the beach with some friends, there don't pass it very well because we were very quiet in the House of a friend playing the play, going to the beach... Holy week helped me to relax and study. The days I went out to see the Holy week were Palm Sunday, I saw several guilds, and Holy Thursday leaving my friends, two in the Cigarreras and one in Silencio. The good thing about this week has been good weather that has made and have been able to leave all the brotherhoods, what I don't like is processions Saturday and Sunday of resurrection no one sees them.

  23. Holy week in Seville is a breathtaking and stunning event, which we live every year with happiness, in my case because I think : summer is here I only have to make the last effort and I will be on holidays very soon.
I do not like it very much, but I reckon its floats, its music, its embroidery, its sculptures are masterpieces. Many people come every year to see these floats, which flood all the city.
I used to stay here until Wednesday, that day in the afternoon we moved to the beach, although, lately I do not go because my friends prefer not to go off .Some of them prefer to stay here and meet in order to hang out for a while. Others belong to a brotherhood and they are very fond of this important traditional event.
I do not like crowded places, by reason of this year I went for three days to my friend´s house, which has a big swimming-pool and where some childhood friends were having a very good time, we spent those days swimming, throwing parties, laughing.
After that, I had to come back to my reality : The following fortnight I had to take many exams. However I made the most of my holidays.

  24. For me, Holy Week is the most beautiful week in Seville, my city, is a different thing which differentiates my city to the other ones, i love Holy Week.
I take part in a procession called “Las Cigarreras” since I was like two or three years old. My family used to take part to, and my uncle is one of the men who go under the procession, in Spanish is called “costalero”.
This year, I started watching processions on Sunday, I had lunch with my friends at the centre and them we started to watch them, and my favourite procession from Sunday is “La Paz”, because some of my cousins take part there.
That was what I did in all the Holy Week, from Monday to Saturday I met my friend at five o’clock and watch processions, sometimes, between some processions we used to go to a bar called “La Sureña” to drink beer.
In the night, after watching processions we used to go to bars to eat and drink, there were a lot of people and a lot of bars.
I had a really good time this year in Holy Week, I’m looking forward to next year’s!

I love Easter. It is a week that I hope all year. This week just sleep, I take seven days to maximum viewing the guilds in the streets of Seville and enjoy my seasons of penance. I leave Nazarene Three Days: Palm Sunday in Bitterness, Holy Tuesday in Students and the Madrugá in La Macarena. I enjoy leaving Nazareth but lose the ability to see other guilds out in those days, but I'd rather be with my accompanying Headlines. Other days I am dedicated to see all sororities and enjoy what I can see in this week. Whenever I take these days to see some entries brotherhood. It is a very emotional week for me, is the big week of Seville!

  27. I like the Holy Week holidays because it is a break from school and also it is in the spring and I really enjoy this time of year even if the weather is not always good. Usually I go with my family to our flat by the sea and where my grandparents also live. If the weather is good I go to the beach and I go out with my friends who also live here and who I don´t see very often. I go to see my grandparents and maybe one or two days I go to the city to see the processions of Holy Week. I get up later than when I go to school and have time to relax and enjoy some time with my family and friends. Because the holiday is only one week and very short the time always goes very fast so it is important to have a rest and do different things but most of all I spend time with my friends, go to the cinema and have a good time by the sea in a different place, away from school and timetables and obligations

although the steps are precious, I with them one minute and I am satisfied as music can be heard in the distance I do not need to be next step.
another thing I love about this time next fair is to see children with tailored suit for a change, so that does not highlight looks cute with this wonderful invention

  29. the holly week is the big week for seville ,I think perform the act of penitence is something that must be done by a promise, is a serious act and great devotion, I am opposed to those people that they perform this Act without being aware of what they are doing, I do not go out of Nazarene but I will do some year.
in Easter this year I've enjoyed more than ever, I would always go with my friends, but most Holy week is not so much like a my and prefer to go to "tapear" through the Centre of the city, été year I decided to enjoy and go with friends who really love and know of Holy week... also the weather this year has been fantastic, nothing to do with previous years. In conclusion, if you like the Easter you have to surround yourself with people who will like them too, otherwise do not enjoy the same way.

  30. Holy Week in Seville is a very special week as “cofradias” go out all the week. Holy Week in Seville is famous throughout the world because it is very nice and the people live it differently than elsewhere. This week people wear special cloths of penitents to accompany the passage of Christ or the Virgin.
I don’t belong to any brotherhood, because I really do not like Easter, because there is a lot of people in the streets and overwhelmed me . But still I would love to be a Nazarene only for a day, because it has to be very nice. My brother belongs to the brotherhood of “The Star” with my little cousins from my father. But my mother belongs to the brotherhood of “The Bataratillo”, as my family has remain that brotherhood for generations.
During this week there are many foreigners in Seville, because they come to see the most beautiful city in the most beautiful Easter, there is a night called " dawn " and that night go out two of the most famous guilds, the Macarena and the Trianera, these brotherhoods the two once for witch people in Seville feel more devotion.

    1. What I like most about the world is Holy Week and in particular the Seville. All week I've been enjoying on the street, in churches, seeing steps, listening to music. I got up very tremprano and I went to visit the temples where the steps were already prepared to leave in the afternoon. Every weekday I've seen out a brotherhood, in their neighborhood, with its people .. Then I went home to rest for a couple of hours and I immediately he wore elegant to attend evening processions in the official career, the boxes of the Plaza de San franciscoonline which was until high hours of night. At night every day I went to see my favorite entry brotherhoods.
I am two brotherhoods call Amargura and the señor de Pasion in the latter come out of Nazareth with a candle and as I am brother since I was born that I did my parents take care in courting a position very close to the Señor de Pasion.
This year I went to see the Macarena morning when collected in their neighborhood and has been spectacular and very emotional because the local people treat the Virgen de la Macarena as if it were one of your family comes to visit and so receive.
