More than 200 years after Samuel Adams and Paul Revere first buried it in Boston, it took an hour to remove all the objects crammed inside a tiny time capsule.
Onlookers anxiously watched the unveiling Tuesday, worrying the items might not have weathered the years very well.
"Could
we actually go through the whole box, or would things prove too fragile
to take out?" said Malcolm Rogers, director of Boston's Museum of Fine
Arts. "It was like brain surgery, with history looking down on us."
Piece
by piece, Pam Hatchfield, head of objects conservation for the museum,
removed each item, whispering "wow" as she first caught a glimpse of
some of them.
Among the stash Hatchfield removed from the 1795 time capsule: Five
folded newspapers, a Massachusetts commonwealth seal, a title page from
Massachusetts colony records and at least 24 coins.

I think if I had to use one time capsule it would be because I would have to do know other people something important, so I would put inside it a letter explaining the reasons why I am doing it because every body must understand the real meaning of it.
Besides I would put a newspaper of this day, some coins and notes some especial item from our century. It is because there are undying things which can survived and be recognised by anyone in the future.

Would get some photos of the most important moments I've lived and I most want to remember, special clothing, some CD's of music you usually hear and some earrings and accessories, plus the capsule would like to open it my family, my children and others, so they can hear the music I listened to their age and could put my clothes, see some of my pictures from different times and my friends and people who come out in the photo. Therefore I would like that capsule is opened when I had already had my kids.
Would not mess things that were very valuable because they could be lost, or that might break as opening the box may break.

I would get a book, an important author, because I imagine that in the future all books will be digital and houses no (only in libraries). So for the person who finds the capsule will be something valuable. I also put a letter written by me in which I would ask them to go to visit my descendants and handed them the letter for them to have one of my recollection. I have seen the film of the time capsule, in which the sick girl inserts a letter full of dates when accidents will occur and the poor child who receives the message goes mad and crazy his father trying to avoid accidents. If I had to enter into a time capsule a message to be read in the future, I would try to describe how things are in the society and time where I live and how I imagine it will be when the time capsule is opened. If I were the person who had to open the capsule and read the letter written by another child long ago, I do really like to read what they thought at that time and how they thought things would move.For me it is curious to note whether the knowledge of that time at which the letter was written are advanced enough to suspect how the world would evolve.

After being 200 years unopened, was finally opened a small time capsule, dating from 1795, at the Museum of Boston, Massachusetts.

I can think of many things, but I will say the most important: one necklace my grandmother gave me for my 18th birthday, because it has a lot of meaning for me.
Also, my team is the Betis, and I will get into the box Gifts of my team. Also, I guess everyone would do it, a picture of when you were little and another with your family, to see the photo in the future and remembering my past and youth.

First of all I want to say that time capsules are really interesting and mystery for me because it gives us the possibility to learn about older generations and see how they were.
