There are some cases of books that finally become films. It is not common to have this process the other way around. Normally, people that read a book that has a film before seeing it, they say they prefer the book better than the film. I am from this opinion. When you read a book you have all the details the writer wanted you to know, and every detail you need to understand the story that is being told to you. However, when you watch a film from a book, it has much less details. This often happens because a film cannot be very long because it can be make it hard to follow the story. But, by doing this, there can be some things that people liked from the book that don't appear or you don't have enough information to understand the film whether you have not read the book. In contrast with all this, we have that when you are reading a book you start to imagine everything that is happening and if there is a film and you watch it is like seeing what you had in your mind while reading but without making any effort because you have it there done. Then the problem is that it can disappoint you or not.
ResponderEliminarActually, I don't read a lot of books neither watch many films. I know that it is wrong but I can't find time to do it. But when I start to read I can't abandon the book. Firstly I prefer read the book because you can utilise your imagination, and later you can watch the film due to the movie are based on the book.
ResponderEliminarOn the one hand, I think that books have a lot of advantages. They provide all the features and details of the characteres but the film describe few things. Besides films eliminate many parts of the books which is more complex and sometimes movies disappoint us for that reason. So you can imagine what you read and have a creative mind more active.
But on the other hand, books have desadvanteges too. Films give you special effects, music and images which books haven't got. So it is easier to understand the plot in a movie than in a book. So some people get bored when he start to read a book and he leave it. However he can see the movie more entertaining and change his mind. You can imagine the images easier with films.
Sum up, I think that both are good and give us a lot of culture. So all the people would should read books and watch films.
The feelings that we live in reading are very different from those we face in time to see our favorite text on movie screens , there are many factors involved , the expectations placed on the film, the scenes that we have built in our minds , the imagined characters, the voices of the characters and the universe created in our mind that revolves around a book.

Some advantages of film / movie could be: captive and sharper color ads , audience 's entertainment , it's art and creativity, is a means of dissemination of information , serves as an approach to other genres : history, literature , theater , comics, etc. . You can meet these characters and stories through film genres , it can serve as a means of complaint, allows special effects and a dynamism that can not be given in the theater.

In my opinion the ideal is to combine these two things, if you have time you can read the book, and you can watch the movies with your friends or family.

The advantage of a film is that is more exciting than a book, because a book could be very boring, all time repeating things and in a film you only have to see and ear, this is other point of advantage of the films, when you read a book you have to spend energy reading a lot of things that sometimes are very boring, with films, you haven´t got to spend any energy. But books have got two advantage, the second is that you can read a book anywhere, in your house, in the streets and the places where you can watch a film are so exclusive, that is, you only can watch a film in the cinema or in a television in your house. For all of this my favourite is the film, because I´m always bored when I read a book.

Advantages:
Books are more complete than films most of the time and in then you can open your mind and imagine pictures about places and characters your imagination can fly deep and high, for than reason you will get a more imaginative person with books than with films.
In addition if you are a good lector you will get better vocabulary and better writing style.
Films: When I am tired and I can not pay attention, is easy to watch a movie than to read a book.
Disadvantages:
Books: To read a book takes time, and in our speedy life style sometimes we, at least me, have not too much time.
Films: Normally films took out important moments from books, in case that the film has the same book.
For example in Hunger Games, I read the book before I saw the movie, and I miss some important moments.

for me books are ideal because the stories are more complete and, as mentioned above, comes in my own imagination. All the times I've seen the film of a book that I have read desiluciono ... always something missing, the voices are not the same, the places are not like that described the writer the characters are very poor ... a disaster! The theme that the movie lasts 1.30 hours. and a novel take me a month to read it to me does not matter, do not know where it ends trouble if I'm enjoying it is. ResponderEliminarThe advantages of the book is that they have more data and they make you have more culture on the words. On the other hand , it has disadvantages ,for example that reading a book is boring, and you have to spend several days reading it to know the end.
The advantages of the movies is that you can see the end in one day, without having to read anything just pay attention and the disadvantage is that you have to pay money to watch it.
In my opinion the movies are better but what most of the people think is that we should read the book first and then watch the movie, that would be perfect.

There are advantages and disadvantages between reading a book and seeing a film.
For example, I don’t like reading but I read the book The Hobbit, and I saw the first part and the second part of the film. I will talk about my experience:
The advantages of reading the book are that you know the history better and you can imagine the characters. Almost always in the book there are more things than in the film.
The advantages of seeing the film are that you haven’t the effort to read a book, you only have to see the film and seeing the film is more easy than read a book.
The disadvantages of reading the book are that you have an effort of reading it and this is a lot of time when you can see the film in some hours.
The disadvantages of seeing the film are that in the film you can´t see some things that there are in the book, and although you can see the characters… it lost the magic of imagination.
In conclusion I like more the film because is more easy for me and more entertaining.
the little fraction emerge in the sea is the film and the big fraction submerge in the sea is the book.

I think both books and movies have their positive side and negative side . In my opinion I prefer movies because I can hardly read a whole book , however , I must say that books give us many details of the story that are very relevant to imagine the scenes in our head while films omit details because it is a much shorter version . The books tell us step by step every single detail of the story , so that we can imagine in our head and we can get the situation well in the subject dealt with . Also always say that reading is very good because it gives us mental agility. On the other hand the films tell the story of a much reduced form , omitting many details but has many positive factors such as allowing us to see performances of the work with our favorite actors, put them face to the characters, (which with books not we can do ) and all this in a time of about 2 hours

For me , books are heavy , I am not able to read me a whole one . Only guy I finished reading two book Manolito Four Eyes because I found very funny. They say the book is more complete and more interesting than the movies, but the truth is that when you are in your house to watch a movie you just have to press a button on the TV remote and read a book you have to go for the , take the odd hour and read it to more monotonous. Also I think it's true that when you read a book you are able to imagine what you read in many ways and on film what you see is only what you think, so here maybe the book is a little more complete , although I still think it is more monotonous. Now with the technologies out there I do not need to have to read a book to find out an argument , and that if that if there is not a such a good movie are its good special effects . Personally I have the movie and more like film was impacted tsunami, " the impossible" , and as to books, as I said before , " Manolito Four Eyes " .

ResponderEliminarA book and a movie is something completely different, we have always heard from our parents or relatives that the book is always better than the movie or read the book to us before the movie and really are true. I many times have I read a book before the movie and it's true that books are usually better than the movies. The films are more superficial and in many occasions some scenes or moments last much less than the book or even do not appear. In addition the book gives you the opportunity to give your face and shape the landscape in your imagination and once you see the movie this disappears and is no longer possible. A book delves much more and is more entertaining films but makes some parts of the book that are heavier are more light and fun . To my reading it seems more complete and better than watching a movie because you use the imagination and what happened to me a lot better with that. While it is true that the best movies are the ones that resemble more a difficult book and being an actor is to make a film that conveys a paper book.

ResponderEliminarBooks and movies are a great way to spend time, either alone or accompanied. However, both have their positive and negative things, especially when there are movies based on books.
On the one hand the books let you imagine the story completely from the details given by the author, you can create places, characters, voices, different scenes ... You can take the book with you and read it wherever you want because of format. The films are a great way to spend time with someone; they relax you and produce a lot of emotions that books can't lead.
On the other hand, the big dilemma is found when the directors make movies based on books. In this case, the book is usually better than the movie, of course this is a subjective dilemma and it depends on the person. It is better to read the book before seeing the movie, because you can imagine the whole story without the film interfere. Also, once you've seen the movie, you can review and compare it with the book.
In conclusion, I prefer books because they are easy to carry, and I create the story from the data that the author gives me. But remember, this doesn’t mean that I don’t like movies!

It defenitely takes up much more of our time. The advantages of watching a film is that we do not have to think so much since everything is presented to us. We just have to sit down and relax and enjoy what we are watching. A film can also attract more our attention and allow for getting more involved in the film. The negative side of watching a film is that important details may be omitted. Another thing is that if we go to the cinema it costs us money and many times come out not having enjoyed it very much. Probably the best option is first reading the book and then going to watch the film. This will give us a clearer and more realistic view.

actually I think that books are more complete in the sense of the characteristics , make you imagine things, it is heavier and more tired but when you start a book and the writer gets you no longer want to leave the book, those wishing for a while to dedicate it to the book. however I am more cinephile , I think the soundtracks , special effects could not be achieved without the movie . True, in a book you can imagine things but it is easier and more entertaining to watch a movie. ami I love movies , I have seen many movies , especially the ones I like are the action , the cars and adventure . besides that you can not get someone to go read , however it is not uncommon whom do not like going to the movies one evening with friends , with your partner or with your family?

With film you either get tired, and with the books if you get tired, since you have to read and be aware not to miss. Another reason why I more like the films is that watching a film take between one, two or three hours at most, while reading a book is it takes about one or two weeks at the earliest. If that is true that reading books does more than help who watch movies, since it helps you to better understand the arguments and read more easily. Also helps you to know more culture, both argument as for the words. From my point of view I prefer to see a movie to read me a book, but it would help you more, academically speaking, in the studies.

On the other hand, I think that if you read a book, you can get more information about the story that you can’t see in the film, because they don’t have time or way to communicate all of that. But you can get more advantages if you read a book like find a new form or spend your time when you have to wait for something, or when you are boring and need to clear up your ideas.
In my opinion, I think that see a film is really funny and entertainment to spend a little time, but I think that if you prefer living different adventures in first person, and feeling as the principal actor of a passionate story, is better reading a book.

When you read a book, you can imagine how the characters look like and sometimes you are part of the story, but this depends on the book. If you like it very much you “live” the story. Now I prefer watching movies, because I do not have a lot of time. When I have a rest in the evening, after the training, doing all the homework and studying I am too tired to read a book. It is much easier to sit down on the sofa and watch a good film. The advantage of watching movies is that you can have an incredible adventure, know about history, travel to the moon, exotic places etc. in around 2 hours. With a book you have to spend much more time to know what happens in the end. But it can also happen, that if you read a book and you like it very much, when you see the film you are disappointed and don’t like it, because it has nothing or very little to do with what you imagined or the actors are not good.
The feelings that we live in reading are very different from those we have to watch our favorite book on the movie screens, the scenarios that we have built in our minds, the imagined characters, the voices of the characters and all that we have created in our mind revolves around a book.

From my point of view, I prefer watching films because I associate cinema with fun and with going out with friends. So literature indirectly has a negative meaning to me.
I think that a book is better than a film because it is more complete and you can imagine the scenes, the images in the book that you read are the product of your imagination, usually are first written the books and then movies are made on the what makes the film is based on the book but you don't have to be like the book. When you read a book and then I saw the film of that book on many occasions has nothing to do and you get a great disappointment with the film, on the contrary happens when watching a movie and read the book, the book you will find it fantastic. The people I know who read a lot are smart people who take very good notes. But I always say I am of those who wait for the movie. I hope the movie because I enjoy the work much more looking for decorated with scenes actors ... also when we are reading a book hardlyever you have to devote many hours to change watch a movie, all those hours spent watching the book can be spend to see another movie for example.
Certainly I respect the readers say that reading is much better than watching the movie. But like I say they see the movie is much better and more exciting than reading a book. It is also true that reading a book gives you a lot of culture and vocabulary. But for this I read the newspaper that seems much more productive and interesting .

ResponderEliminarI don’t read some books, and I hate them actually. Therefore I prefer the films than the books. I think that the books are very boring and poor, and in a film you can see other details like music, the colors, specials effects etc. In a book I only see a lot of letters and it not appeal to me. Many people said me that the books are amazing and interesting but I haven’t felt that feeling yet. Also to read a book takes time, and in our speedy life style sometimes we, at least me, have not too much time. Besides films eliminate many parts of the books which is more complex and sometimes movies disappoint us for that reason. Someday I will have to read a book and then watch the movie to know what is best. Because I've never felt that feeling and has to be very interesting but weird at the same time as you will change what you imagined. Until then I still think that movies provide more books and become less tedious. One day when I have time I dedicate to read, as it is very didactic and very good for the cultural and moral growth of people.

If I have to choose between movie and alone book I can think for the experience that I have with Harry Potters's books and with the book of the child of the pajamas of stripes, because they are the only ones that I have read and also I have seen in movie. In both cases I have liked many mas the books, the truth is that first I read them and later the vie in movie and I did not like them so much. From my point of view books are better than movies , because they have many more details than movies , books also let your imagination to fly , because you do not see any of the characters, so you have to imagine all the people of the book , landscapes , situations ... this makes them more beautiful because we imagine as we would like it to be everything. It’s obvious that for people who like to read will always prefer books than films, but there are many people who don’t like to read or don’t know that a film is based on a book.

I think that the ignorance nowadays is “cool” and most of teenagers think that read is boring; why are they going to read a book if they can go out with their friends?
Well, for people who like to read is OBVIOUS that the book is going to be always better than the film, just because when you have to do a film you have to sum up the plot and modify the story as you like, for example, in Troy (the film) the history is completely modificated, the character of Achilles dies before in the history but, well, they are not going to kill Brad Pitt so soon…
I think that for example, in “historic” films is not a good idea to change details like this, because people believe what the film say…

ResponderEliminarI prefer movies because I am a lover of good movies. But I also like many books that are well written. I like the adventure genre films and mysteries, some kind of movie that will surprise you scene after scene and keep with suspense and "will happen" until the end. The main problem with the film is perfectly set the stage, decorated say much good about the movie if it's good and bad; and voices when translations. Books if they have more facilities because the author has only to focus on telling the story and define the landscape. But yes, you have to be a good writer to describe landscapes and characters because you have to give the right information, like the argument that has to be good and everything has to be well explained.
In my opinion both forms of entertainment are important, depending on what you want to do. You can enjoy a film relaxing in front of the television or at the cinema or you can read a book and relax at the same time.

When you read a book you can imagine the characters and scenes according to the descriptions of the author but when you watch the film it is one version chosen by the film director and although the film may be very good it might not coincide with your idea or interpretation. Reading a book is a personal experience whereas a film is a more open one.
I enjoy reading books but if I see a film from a book I don´t usually enjoy it as much as a film that I know nothing about. If I enjoy a film that is made from a book often I read the book too but most times I prefer to read the book than see the film. I think they are two separate and equally enjoyable activities.
I love them both both books and movies but both have their advantages and disadvantages. The films are very entertaining and can take you to feel the story told in the book only as staging coupled with the music and expressions come another incredibly nice thing about movies is that you have to make any effort and you just have to sit back and enjoy the images combined with the interpretations , bad movies versus the books is that leave nothing to the imagination and also the elements of the stories are much lower due to the extension of a book is much better. The good thing about books vs. movies is that you can feel the history in your mind and think about how everything was leaving room for imagination on the other hand the bad books is that reading can make you heavy and end tired of reading and even so many things to miss the crux of the story because of the length having the books recount .

I prefer to watch a film because I am bored with I read a book. The books are always very big and they have a lot of people, it is difficult to remember the names of the people.
