now, Usoni is a Kenya-based TV production that turns the issue of
migration to Europe upside down. The futuristic show depicts Africa as
mankind's last cradle of hope in the wake of a series of natural
disasters.
Usoni follows the
compelling story of Ophelia and Ulysse, a young couple who are
desperately trying to escape Europe's terrible conditions and head to
Africa, the land of the sun that holds the promise of a better future
for them and their unborn child.
Setting off from
Lampedusa, the Mediterranean port serving as the gateway to the African
oasis, the two protagonists embark on an arduous journey fraught with
peril and sacrifice as they try to reach Lake Turkana in east Africa.

Ofelya and ulisse a loving couple after leaving the port of the island of Lampedusa to "travel" east of africa ( Turkana ) and survive. the first incident with this great trip is that the sea is very busy and there are some big waves , where they will die almost half of the crew and including the famous and more joselillo also known as "The Great Captain " . after passing these gigantic waves , the couple survives along with three women , 2 men and 8 young children. passing day begins to be very hungry and one to stop them happening despite elloshabia because under a mass of little known fish, the first fish biting cane suddenly splits and realize they are not fish normal , but have evolved by climatic changes experienced a few days earlier. the primary cause for the search of hunger is killing one of the men who was in poor condition as it had been damaged by the fish. hunger passes and all are fed properly. already very close to Turkana are that women can only happen , and what makes ulisse thrown in to try to sneak prufindidades . gets sneak in Turkana and again , just when that was gonna give lus meets Ofelya . the child called him joselillo .

Ophelia and Ulysse were in the boat, they didn´t know how would to pass, they were days in the boat and they eat only a piece of bread, doesn´t matter this to their, because when the sun disappeared the Europeans people only eat the things that they could. People in the boat was starting to die, there was a rule in the boat, the person who died, served the other people like food. Ophelia and ulysse survived to the boat journey, but when they arrived to the coast, the Africans had a high duty to enter into the country, and the people that cannot pay, have to work in a coal mine. They worked in the mine ten hours a day, all days with a slow salary. Ophelia felt ill , and Ulysse escaped to the country (where there are a lot of wealth) to find the medicaments. When he had the medicaments the police saw him when he stole the medicaments and he had to hide.He gave the medicaments to Ophelia but the police caught him and killed him because he stole the medicaments. At this moment Ophelia lives in the country and Ulysse died when the police found him

The first two days everything was fine until the third day a hard storm began.The boat started filling with water and many cabins were destroyed with all the furniture on the floor. The real problem came the fifth day when Ofelia felt movement inside his belly. On the boat there was a doctor who helped her at all times and told her to rest because on that same day in the evening, she was going to have the baby.
They arrived at 9 pm, she was scared to death and Ulysse was by her side all the time supporting her. At 10 she had the child. It was a girl, to whom they named Africa as a memory.The seventh day, they arrived to Africa and lived in a hotel in very good conditions and with sun all day and unpolluted air.
They sing onto a big cruise where they promised to land in Africa. The trip was a bit uncomfortable because of the amount of people that were there. Moreover, they could only eat once per day because there was not enough food for everybody. For Ulysse it was bearable, by Ophelia was pregnant and the unborn child needed to be fed. While they were travelling, they met lots of people and one of them was Natasha, a young nurse who was ready in case the baby comes sooner.
ResponderEliminarSuddenly, a crash on the frontal part of the boat produced the sink of it. While it was sinking, Ophelia looked for Ulysse but she could not find him. After thirty anguished minutes, she found Natasha and they decided to take a small boat. While they were rowing to nowhere, they could hear babies crying and people asking for help but it was too late to return. After hours sailing, they found another boat which as broken in the middle. Ulysse was dying in one of these parts of the boat with a huge wound in his arm. They took him and Natasha put the dying man lying on the boat. They did not have any water or food. Suddenly, they saw in the distance a big cruise. They made signs and tried to call their attention, but it was impossible. Ulysse died. Ophelia and Natasha were dying slowly. Fortunately, after three days, they were rescued by a small boat of Africans.
They were carried to a tiny village by a big lake. After two weeks recovering themselves, they went out of the hats and discovered they were in Lake Turkana. Weeks after, and as a miracle, Ophelia had the baby and she called him Ulysse in the memory of his father.
Both partners must flee Europe there are fewer resources people fight to death for drinking water, the sum of deaths in Europe has increased to 60000000 people and the two world wars caused many deaths, many people are crazy for not sunbeams to see millions of trees die every day. Luckily find the help of a wise old man who does not feel strong enough to escape but their boat lends to try to save them. Ofelia and Ulysses begin their trip on a boat in bad conditions with his son and his two nephews, whose parents had died in the old continent by natural environmental problem. Two days after leaving had problems on the ship since I pit with rocks that passed through the right side, thankfully did not pass more troubles. Upon reaching the continent they had to rent a car for just three wheels that had to reach the lake where they wanted to live. Ofelia and ulises. they began his trip in the ship .they decided go out one day in which looked to do good time, but when spent the first half hour began a great storm , it began to rain and it was freezing and the waves increasingly big and strong .the waves created a break in the the ship's bow, this did that they had to leave the ship and they took an inflatable boat that they had in the ship ,enough resistant.when the temporal passed they came to africa and they could spend the borders thanks to a friend of ofelia but she couldn´t go with them in his trip . ofelia and ulises were lost in the forest,and they hadn´t food .there were a lot of trees but it isn´t nothing to eat , they were exhausted .they didn´t find nothing .they saw only land and more land .they believed see water but it only were their imagination.they were very tired.they were very tired .sudenly they saw a car that it was passing by there but they couldn´t move and the car didn´t see them. both remained unconcious and slept .when they woke up they were in a house of the men that dorve in the car. now they are living with him.

ResponderEliminarIt was a cold and sad night when they left the port. They left behind a life, a family, and a thousand stories. Those two lovers knew that they couldn't continue trying to survive in European territory, so they were risking their lives to arrive Africa. They hoped to find a better life there, where to start from scratch and start a family. Ulysses and Ophelia had to steal a small boat from the port of Lampedusa, where they had left at 4 in the morning to avoid being seen.
The trip was being quiet until they reached roughly halfway. Ulysses had been a sailor and he could handle the difficult situation in which they were involved. A strong wind began to blow, causing the sea to revolutionize and big waves to form. The small boat was rocking from side to side; Ophelia protected herself as she could while Ulysses tried to control the boat. Strong waves were about to make capsized, waves were getting bigger, and both were frozen. Just when it seemed that the end was coming to both, Ophelia opened her eyes of the blow. It had all been a nightmare. Ulysses was there sleeping peacefully beside her, and was only 2014.

Our friends are continuing their journey believing that the hardest is done, but find many borders where they could not pass. Leave the car and walk follow but knowing that no African help them. Exhausted from the heat and force of the desert believe will not succeed. Surprisingly few people living in the desert and decide to help them collect , through the desert on camels and knowing that there are good people helping others in Africa . Finally manage to get to the west of the continent and discovered a wonderful and full of good people from the evil place .

Ophelia and Ulysse start their journey to Africa. They are in a small ship with more people that also want to reach Africa and the rest of the crew from the ship. Because of the weather conditions, the trip is really difficult for them. They can hardly see where they are going and the wind hits the sea creating big waves that the ship will not stand a lot of time. They are very hungry but there is no food left and the do not know how much time they will need to get to the African coast. Ulysse is exhausted and starving but he only tries that Ophelia and the baby that is growing inside her are well. Ophelia tries to hide that she does not have strength enough to continue that way and she is scared for her child. One morning Ophelia started shouting: "Is coming! The baby is coming!" Everybody waked up quickly and ran next to her. Ulysse gave her his hand so that she could hold it. Women were trying to get everything that could help to make the baby come. After some hours, a little girl was in Ulysse's arms. The problem was the Ophelia was very weak after the birth. Luckily they had already reached the African coast and they could move Ophelia to a hospital with Ulysse and their baby.

ResponderEliminarThere is a strong surveillance by police and military of the European Union. Do not let anyone go in Europe, these measures are agreed with African countries. What a few years ago it was the other way around, when Africans wanted to come to Europe. Times have changed a lot.
But at these times of stress to people are exacerbated of invention and whatever happens to come to Africa. Our protagonists manage to find a way to escape, thanks to a friend who is a cop and recognized them. His friend the police managed to hide in a house that is hidden Lampedusa. There they will endure until his friend warning him to escape. The police hope a week, until the atmosphere calmed down a bit. After got a boat for his friends for they will come to Africa. After a hard journey and many controls came to where it all began. Many more people could come to Africa but most died in Europe. All this could have been avoided with arrival of people from Africa to Europe years ago.
When the young couple embarked in the boat they saw that it was very small and they thought that it was going to be very difficult to live there for a month, even more in the condition that she was in that moment, pregnant. The first week at the boat there wasn´t any problems, but the second week the problems started coming.

They were the two sleeping in the boat when the man awoke. He warned the woman that already everything had calmed down. Two days they saw land far away. They are initially were happy they could be saved. But they are closer they see that we must cross a border in which African forces do not allow it, since they can only enter African. The distraught couple tries to skirt the island to enter from behind, but they will not succeed. Women are left limply and is the man who rows only. They were finally seen by African forces and admitted them in Africa, since it had changed the law because of the heavy pollution.

After a difficult and tired journey, they arrived to the Lake Turkana. Though they had thought that there would have a good future, soon they noticed about the real situation. First, the air was cleaned and they could breathe, but in a moment, it was a change: people who lived there told them that the conditions that they had to live weren’t what they hoped.

Watching this situation, Ophelia and Ulysse, tried to fix their lives in order to look for a better future for their family. Firstly, they build a place where to live, near a river and with a little land to grow some vegetables. Then they organised a little community with other people to control their habits. Last they got to live peacefully sharing their food and other items.
However, this life was truncated when the peace that they had got, was interrupted because of a big earthquake sank the land, and destroyed all what they had built for them and their unborn children.

Ofelia and Ulysse are a couple of persons that live in Europe and try escape from here because they don’t want die. They decided take a boat for escape, the find a boat in a bad conditions but they have escape to europe right now. When he travel to spain for by a boat they found that a lot of people want by a boat to escape. Ofelia think that if she by the materials necessary to build a boat they would can escape.
When they finish to build the boat they take it and they went to Africa. In the travel they had a lot of adventures that would change their lives for always.
When they reached to Africa they bought an houses, found a job and formed a family together in Africa.
Ophelia and Ulysses are really frightened because they don’t know what they are going to find when they get there nor how the journey is going to be like. They have seen pictures of lake Turkana on the Internet and they know it is a beautiful place but many people is going to live there that it may be completed devastated by now. They get on a boat full of desperate people, which they can’t trust. They feel really strange and desperate too. They have lost everything and have left family and friends behind but now it is time to look forward to a better future and, for that, they are ready to do whatever. The voyage is full of events. The weather is awful and the boat is rocking all the time. They feel seasick but can’t feel bad because they have to be prepared for anything and on alert because anybody could rob them of the very few things they carry with them. Deep inside they are happy that they are given the chance to escape the hell where they lived and start a new life but it is not going to be easy.

A man fell to the sea and the other trying to save him died for what 2 men died and were already only 13 people. The day following Ulysse became ill with fever believed that he was going to die but used the latest drugs to save his life. Nothing more reaching Lake Turkana realized the change, the air was clean, breathing much better and Ulysses, which had not yet been recovered, they recovered immediately, relatives waited them very happy. Ofelia and Ulysses had two sons one who was living in Africa and another who had emigrated and they knew nothing of it, relatives told him that it was OK but in Europe he had received abuse and racist acts by being black. Our two joves embark on a small patera shared by many more like them young , who just want to find ways to survive together . While they were travelling, they met lots of people and one of them was Natasha, a young nurse who was ready in case the baby comes sooner.

After thirty anguished minutes, she found Natasha and they decided to take a small boat. While they were rowing to nowhere, they could hear babies crying and people asking for help but it was too late to return. After hours sailing, they found another boat which as broken in the middle. Ulysse was dying in one of these parts of the boat with a huge wound in his arm. They took him and Natasha put the dying man lying on the boat. They did not have any water or food. Suddenly, they saw in the distance a big cruise. They made signs and tried to call their attention, but it was impossible. Ulysse died. Ophelia and Natasha were dying slowly. Fortunately, after three days, they were rescued by a small boat of Africans.

ResponderEliminarThey are from Lampedusa (Italy), and they want to go to Turkana (Africa), the only way to get there is by boat or by plane, because they have to cross the Mediterranean Sea. They are trying to find any boat or plane, but it’s impossible, they are crowded and very expensive.
Finally they get two tickets to a cruise, because they were very lucky. The tickets were of third class (so there weren’t as expensive as the first class), it wasn’t very comfortable, because the rooms were very small and there were a lot of people, they had to share their room with strangers, which was a bit rare…
The cruise would take 10 days to arrive to Africa, but they will have some problems…
By the way, they found a lot of ash in the air, and that made it more difficult.
At last they arrive to Africa, when they are taking off of the cruise, Ophelia starts to feel ill, the baby is coming…
They went to the nearest hospital there, and they finally had the baby, they slept three days at the hospital, but after it they didn’t have enough money to buy a house, so they decided to stay in a hotel.
One month later, Ulysse found a job in Africa (which was very difficult), his job was to help to make disappear all the ash in the air, it was a very difficult job, but he got it and they could survive.
This family go in a small boat adrift with other family with the father, mother, the older brother and a girl with four years old.

They leave a monday, in winter, in January exactly. It´s very cold but somebody wear coat and blankets and the women and the girls is in a little ship´s in the boat where they are protect to the cold. In the halfaway point of road there is a big train of waves and boat move more. The pregnant is dizzy and everybody is scared. But, even so they continue the travel. One after week, the train of waves is calmed and leave the sun. It´s a travel more pleasant, but everybody want arrive yet. Two days after leaving had problems on the ship since I pit with rocks that passed through the right side, thankfully did not pass more troubles. Upon reaching the continent they had to rent a car for just three wheels that had to reach the lake where they wanted to live. When the young couple embarked in the boat they saw that it was very small and they thought that it was going to be very difficult to live there for a month, even more in the condition that she was in that moment, pregnant. The first week at the boat there wasn´t any problems, but the second week the problems started coming.

The third day she went in to labor, they was very nervous, because it was the first child who had. There was very long, but everything went as expected. It was a nice and healthy boy, his name was Mathew.
The last problem was undoubtedly the most serious of all, because the water finished, and there was a lot of people in the boat. They remain two days without water, but finally arrived to Africa.
There, they were very happy, they had two children more and they had a very good education.

ResponderEliminarThe journey to the port are made to eternal because Ulisse can't see anything with the cloud of dust caused by volcanoes. When they are coming to the port Ophelia sees a huge person queue waiting for something. Suddenly they see a boat coming and all persons climbing in Stampede, Ulisse leaves drive quickly, take all your luggage and gets with his partner to the queue. They were slowly approaching more and when they were near the Salvation the captain closed the door and told that they had to wait one day more until the next boat. late night Ophelia was too cold and they had nothing of refuge and they only had suitcases and are waiting in the queue. Ulisses worried his girlfriend was looking for something to cover it but was very difficult because it was all full of ashes. It turned all the port and to return with nothing in the hand found beneath some rubble an old blanket in a crib and I took her to Ophelia. After a hard night of waiting, both sleeping, they woke up because of the screaming and it was that the boat was already coming. they were quickly mounted and set sail heading to Lampedusa.

The other people on the boat want to escape from Europe as well because life is imposible in Europe. People can’t have jobs, the schools are closed, there is not food and there are wars as well. Europe is not a nice place to liveand they want to run away.
After one long week on the boat, they can see the land. Africa looks nice, green and rich. They know that life will not be easy but at least, they will have a life and their baby will grow up there.
When night, they arrive. Everything is dark. Ophelia is sitting on the boat, she is very tired. Ulysse helps her jump and they are finally there, in Africa. They have to hide very quickly because some people are waiting for them. But they got it.
Ofelia and Ulises desperate situation of the continent wishing to escape to Africa to get to a remote lake Turkana European chaos and prosperous thanks to its wealth of seeking a better future for your child still in the womb field crops . A volcano in eruption is very serious because it can destruie everything in its path. When a volvan erupts must leave the populations who are close as it can be dangerous for the people. It is also dangerous to aircraft because a large cloud of smoke in the air that may not let them see and can make the plane crash is formed. if the only place you could go would be Africa this would be very good for Africans because it would improve its economy and an important place would be done as it would be the only place to go. Hopefully this will never happen as this could endanger many people and fear for their lives. We fortunately have not any dangerous volcano near but you never know. Many people have been through this situation and I'm sure it's a experience. not want to repeat again.
